I see you in your eyes.

I saw you today…
When you were wishing to hide,
Your tears gave me an ache
My heart violently throbbing inside.

I behaved as if I am stoic
As that was what you demanded.
I behaved as if I am reasonable
Though reason was the last thing I had.

The pain stabbing your heart
Pierced a hole through mine
The austere look in your eyes
Managed to fill the brims of mine.

My heart seems to be consumed
By the sorrow you felt tonight…
My eyes digging deeper wells
Like the chasm of your eyes.

Your sorrow sang a melancholy
More powerful than this wind…
Even the wind seemed to be wishing
It could make your storms rescind.

Witnessing your loneliness
Ripped me in parts hard to find…
And I wish just for your sake
That it didn’t kill me inside.

For I wish to hold you tight
Even if you don’t want that caress.
You seem to need it more
Every time you ask for less.

For I wish to give you love
As I need to give you love,
I wish for you to have love
Cause we all need some love.

I wish to give you love
As I see you need the love,
You wish to not be loved
As you see you’ll end up needing love.

I saw you today…
When you were wishing to hide,
Your tears gave me bliss
For they wept the love you keep inside.
